Palm Island Summer Clean Up by BICI & PIE

🌿 Join Us for the Third Island Clean Up on Palm Island! 🌿

We’re thrilled to announce our third island clean-up, sponsored by the Bocilla Islands Conservancy and Palm Island Estates! Following the success of our past clean-ups, we invite you to join us in making a difference once again!

Date: July 6
Time: 8 AM – 10 AM
Meeting Location:
– At the white tent, next to the dumpster that will be located at the corner of Bocilla and South Gulf Blvd.

Dumpster Locations:
– The corner of Bocilla and South Gulf Blvd. (This dumpster is for all debris, excluding automotive parts and liquid hazardous materials.)
– Dumpster at Palm Drive (for yard debris only)

🔹 Dumpster Arrival: The dumpsters will be available on Tuesday, July 1, and you can start using them immediately. They will be removed from the island on July 8. Please do not fill the dumpsters over the top because Waste Management will not pick them up. Additionally, please do not mix construction and trash into the Palm Drive Dumpster; it is for yard debris only.

🔹 What to Bring: If you have an empty trash can, please bring it along! Some properties in need of cleanup are not accessible to the public, and your help will ensure we can collect and properly dispose of the trash. No problem if you don’t have a can. Please bring rakes if you have them and gloves. We recommend wearing a hat and sunscreen.

✨ Volunteers Needed!
If you’re interested in volunteering, please let Jude or Linda know or show up at the dumpster location. We will have a tent set up at the corner of Bocilla and South Gulf Blvd. We will provide water and refreshments! Please sign the Waste Management release forms at the White Tent on July 6th.
