Golf Cart Parade, Sand Castle Contest & Pie Eating Contest
Join us for the July 4th Festivities!
- 9:15 am – Golf Cart Parade (starts at the Ferry Landing)
- 10am – Sand Castle Contest at the public beach access on S. Gulf
- 12pm – Kids Pie Eating Contest
First get out the tape and patriotic decor and create your golf cart masterpiece! The parade starts at the Ferry Landing.
Then, get ready to dig, sculpt, and create at our Sand Castle Contest! Whether you’re bringing the kids for some family fun or gearing up to compete with the local experts, this is the ultimate beachside showdown.
🕙 Event Starts: 10AM
🏆 Judging Begins: Noon
Over the years, we’ve seen incredible creations from towering castles to octopuses, sea horses, dolphins, crocodiles, and more! Will your masterpiece take the top prize? A variety of prizes are up for grabs, so bring your best building skills!
And of course, stick around for the Kid’s Pie Eating Contest, because what’s more American than that? 🇺🇸🥧
Sand Castle Rules:
- Sand sculptures must consist of sand & beach water only.
- You can decorate only with NATURAL items found on the beach.
- Hand tools & forms may be used, but must be removed before judging.
- The sand sculpture must be within your plot of space.
- Individual or groups
Castles/Sculptures are judged on the following:
Design, Creativity, Detail, Neatness & Technique.
