Right of Way Parking along Placida Road

Palm Island Transit has been asking for residents to sign a petition to allow critical parking along Placida Rd again.

Right of Way parking along Placida Rd from Bay Point Dr to Gasparilla Dr has always served as important “staging” of heavy machinery and/or delivery of large items for island residents. The county recently posted No Parking signs along the road, and the alternative is to stage, unload and deliver on Panama Blvd, where we board the ferry.
